Included in your software plan, you'll benefit from industry-leading security practices and standards to ensure compliance. Our Quantum Cloud development team holds ISO 27001 certification, with members who are both AWS Certified Security Specialists and CSSPs. These certifications validate their expertise in safeguarding customer data within cloud-based applications.
Serverless architecture & control of confidential information
The application uses serverless technologies and is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). User authentication is conducted through Amazon Cognito, requiring an email, password, and Two-Factor Device. Users are granted access exclusively to confidential information designated for their respective organisations.
Data encryption and infrastructure
All data is safeguarded through encryption with Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.2, ensuring the utmost protection. Encryption at rest is implemented using the Amazon Key Management Service. All data is securely stored and processed exclusively within the UK.
Cybersecurity & Operational security
The application undergoes quarterly penetration testing conducted by a third party, with results reviewed and necessary actions taken promptly. Data is securely stored within Amazon S3, ensuring 99.999999999% durability of objects annually.

Given the vast amounts of highly sensitive data stored in Quantum, it's imperative that the program is backed by a rigorous security system. The Quantum Cloud development and support team undergo comprehensive training to adeptly safeguard your sensitive data within a Cloud environment.
Quantum Cloud is hosted and managed by Isotoma Limited, who have gained ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus on our behalf. Quantum Cloud falls
under the remit of those certifications, and is regularly audited as part of Isotoma's certifications.

Privacy and security FAQ’s
Where is my data in Quantum Cloud stored?
All of the data entered into Quantum Cloud is encrypted and stored on secure Amazon Web Services (AWS). This means that only you will have access to your own data.
How does Quantum Cloud look after my confidential information?
Information is classified and labelled to indicate both the level of confidentiality and organisational compartmentalisation. Users are authenticated using an email, password and Two Factor Device by Amazon Cognito. Users are authorised to access only confidential information labelled for their organisation. Organisation associations are stored and managed by Amazon Cognito.
In which country is my data held?
All data is held in the UK and all processing is conducted within the UK, to meet GDPR rules and regulations.
Is the software regularly tested for security vulnerabilities?
Yes, software dependencies are actively monitored for known security vulnerabilities using third party vulnerability management software. Known vulnerabilities are regularly triaged and updated as necessary. The application is penetration tested by a third party on a quarterly basis and the results are reviewed and remediated as necessary.
